Stress therapy just doesn't stop at eating right and getting more exercise.  There are literally tens of dozens of ways to reduce stress.  Below are two all-natural stress reducer remedies to help ward off tension.

 

The first Stress Reducer - Sunlight Therapy

People that are stressed out need to make an extra effort to take in adequate natural sunlight every day.  A landmark 1980 study cited in Weiner and Brown's “Office Biology” showed that limited-spectrum artificial lighting (the kind often used in offices and schools) actually elevates stress hormone levels.

 

The body uses sunlight and full-spectrum light to synthesize vitamin D, which helps the body absorb calcium and keep blood pressure low, which increases health and is a good stress reducer.  Natural light also regulates the pineal gland, which oversees many of the body's rhythms.  Without natural light, the gland becomes desensitised, throwing your already stressed body into worse shape.

 

When suffering from acute stress, your tendency may be to burrow into your office or home.  Try instead to be outdoors for at least thirty to sixty minutes in the brightest sunlight of the day, which is early morning.  Investigate adding a set of full-spectrum fluorescent lights to a room in your home or office.  Or your healthcare provider (or local lighting distributor) may be able to tell you where to find full-spectrum light boxes, which are more portable.  Even thought not all doctors agree about the extent to which light therapy relieves stress, they agree that it does help and that sunlight is always preferable to indoor facsimiles.

 

The Second Stress Reducer - Enjoy Spa Treatment

What could be better stress reducer than an all-natural facial, an acupressure massage, or a session in a sauna?  Of course, not all spas restrict their treatments to pampering because increasingly you will find instructions on stress management, good nutrition, and relaxation techniques, squeezed in between the early morning hike, the late morning workout, and the low-calorie lunch.  There are spas to suit every schedule and bank account, from one-day quickies to a full week with the works.

 

If time or money precludes a trip to the spa, fashion one in your own.  Lay out all necessary oils, facial rubs, and other balms and lotions and select favourite relaxing music.  When your personal spa opens for business, make sure it's understood by the other people living in your house that it's off-limits for a couple of hours and to divert phone calls to your answering machine.

 

Third Stress  Reducer - Take quick Power-Naps
Learning to relax under pressure and stress is not easy. In fact, it's downright tough to deal with high stress levels at work or at home and be able to effectively handle it without getting rest. But here lies the catch-22, and that is that unless we rest appropriately, then we cannot handle stress in a positive manner. So how can we relax under pressure? Why not learn to take quick “power naps”?

If your job involves a lot of reading, it would make sense to learn to speed-read. If your life contains a lot of stress, it would be a tremendous help to be able to take a quick “power-nap” for even a few moments when under fire. Most people can definitely relax on a two week vacation, many can totally relax on the weekend, and some people can relax every evening after work ends. But how many, during even the most stressful days, can count to ten, suddenly be at complete rest for a few moments, and then wake up refreshed? Staying Fit with Yoga Exercises
Yoga exercises are the best way to free your mind and concentrate deeply. After you have experienced a stressful situation, your mind, body and spirit is stressed and fatigued.

The cause of these things might have been from the interaction with other people or something that have caused a frustration, anger, depression and disappointment. The feelings formed out of these circumstances should be released so that you will live a happier life with no worries.

One effective way and method to express your outpoured feelings and emotions is by doing yoga exercises.

When you feel like shouting out loud or cracking the television, you can instead release your tension through yoga exercises that are effective and helpful.

This type of strategy has worked in many ways for different people. Those who don’t find enough time for themselves can do yoga exercises in order to relieve themselves.

Sometimes, work has caught us up so tightly that we don’t find time to relax and express ourselves. Yoga exercises are the best remedy to this problem.

Before eating your breakfast, the mind is on its state of calmness and free from distractions. This is the perfect time to do the yoga exercises.

Before doing the yoga exercises, make sure that your heart is ready. It should not feel any pain or ego. It is important to keep a good heart so that your mind can work well.

The perfect place to do your yoga exercises is a quiet place. It should be well ventilated and free from all unpleasant things and smell. You should be free from all possible distractions.

Acne Solutions

There are many Acne Solutions products designed to treat acne.  Some of these products are formulated to serve a specific purpose while others are dedicated to treating the general symptoms of acne. 

 

We discuss some of the basic Acne Solutions products sold over-the-counter that can help prevent and combat acne.  Remember, if products sold in most chemist / drugstores aren’t helping your condition, it may be advisable to seek medical attention.

 

The most basic acne solutions help fight acne is Soap and Water.  Depending on your skin type, sensitivity, and possible allergies, you may want to choose a soap carefully so as to prevent further breakouts or irritation. 

 

When you wash your face, you are removing excess oils that build up on your skin, clogging pores and causing pimples to form.  Although it is strongly recommended that you do not wash your face too often, and that you don’t scrub vigorously, as this can remove too much oil and irritate the skin, washing your face twice or even three times daily is the most acne solutions to remove unwanted dirt and oils and help control your breakouts.

 

Benzoyl peroxide: is also another very common proactive acne solutions that can be purchased over-the-counter to help fight acne.  It is often recommended by physicians, it is usually used to treat mild forms of acne.  It is present in many acne treatment products, and was the first product to be proven effective in treating acne.

 

Benzoyl Peroxide is helpful in fighting bacteria and stops excess oil from clogging pores.  It is available in the forms of a lotion or a cream. 

 

Salicylic acid is commonly used in many over-the-counter proactive acne solutions cleansers and treatments, and when applied to the skin, helps to correct the abnormal shedding of cells.  In milder forms of acne, it helps to unclog pores and prevent lesions we know of as pimples. 

 

Salicylic acid does not stop oil production.  Like Benzoyl Peroxide, it must be used continually in order to see its effects. 

 

Sulfur is also another common acne solutions product found in many over-the-counter acne treatments.  It has been used for years in conjunction with other products to help combat acne.  Due to its unpleasant odour, sulfur is less often used by itself to treat acne. 

 

Although it is widely used, and common in many acne treatments, it is not known exactly what characteristics help heal acne.  Nevertheless, results have been shown and it continues to be used.

 

Herbal and natural products are very acne solutions and are often available for purchase over-the-counter to treat acne.  Most of these products are organic, and have not been tested clinically to determine their effectiveness.  In spite of this, they are sometimes preferred, and their usage is said to be increasing.

 

There are many over-the-counter acne solution options available to help heal and prevent acne but different products react differently to different skin types, and the effects are different for everyone.  It is important to find what works for you and stick to it.

Meditation technique for different environments
There are people who have good sense of focus and concentration. They have the ability to stabilize their mind no matter what kind of environment they are into. However, there are also people who seem to be always disturbed. They can hardly concentrate, thus, affecting their judgment and quality of work. Meditation is a good aid for these types of people. During meditation, mental space is created in order to achieve a certain degree of enlightenment.

The effects of meditation to different people also vary. These could be affected by factors such as the mood, character and individuality. When a person hardly understands himself, his confusion reflects to his actions. That is why contemplation is necessary in order to achieve an enlightened consciousness.

A quiet space conducive for reflection, a mantra to be recited and absolute concentration are the essentials of meditation. While sitting meditation is considered the basic and most efficient form of meditation, there are other ways to modify the process. On the whole, you can only create other forms of meditation when you become habituated with the practice. When your mind had been set for meditation, it will be easy for you to stay tuned-up. Plus, you can integrate the spiritual essence and mental awareness with the physical and mental rhythms of life.

As meditation becomes part of your routine, you will always find time to stop and make a connection with the process of meditation. Naturally, you will seek the blissful state that you can experience only when meditating.

So what should you do when the place you are into is not conducive for meditation? There are ways to establish focus and concentration. You can capture your mind to be in the meditation state when you direct your attention to a spot in the room, or listen attentively to your breathing or focus on a small object. With the help of a relaxing music and tricky colours, you can employ meditation and extend such practice even beyond the meditation period.

Active people such as athletes need to stay focused in their skill or art while staying grounded. However, their physical ability could be more enhanced if they are in touch with their higher consciousness. A famous female boxer revealed that in her violent and aggressive profession, she never fails to meditate and chant. She constructed her own way of escaping the gym atmosphere in order to find peace within. She listens to the sound of the speed bag as she hits it one way. There is a distinct sound for a one-way blow and the sound varies with the difference in the impact of glove. Then all she had to do is close her eyes and meditate on the sound of the speed bag.

Even a basketball player can employ meditation at the free throw line if he is able to transcend the noise of the crowd and the pressure of the play. In this manner, he can manage stress and anxiety while connecting to his meditation process.
